Persian rugs are generally of two types. These are Persian tribal rugs and Persian city rugs. Those types of rugs which are manufactured in city are called as Persian city rugs whereas those rugs which are manufactured in tribal region are called as Persian tribal rugs. These rugs are very fashionable and classy. The best thing about Persian rugs is that they are very comfy. Some types of Persian rugs are:-
(1) Afshar rugs: – These rugs are generally based on geometrical designs. They are smaller in size. The medallions are joined with numerous connections. They are of diamond like figure. They are well decorated with rose structure and also of similar to wonderful chicken patterns. There are various other patterns besides these two patterns. The combination of colors are also very awesome. The foundations of rugs are generally of two categories. These are wool and cotton.
(2) Ahar rugs:- These rugs are the categories of carpet which are made in Ahar county. It is located in Iran. These rugs are in the market from more than 30 years now and these are sold in the constituencies of outside Iran also. These rugs are the part of a group called Heriz group in that area. These are available in linear as well as geometric design.
(3) Balouch rugs: – These rugs are prepared in Afghanistan as well as South-east Iran. These rugs are generally prepared in tribal region and are of tiny sizes. Usually it is covered within the length of 8fts.
(4) Wiss Rugs: – These rugs are designed from hands and they are from a rural community of Wiss located in Iran. In these rugs they commonly use opaque flowery models by garden ingredients, vases etc. The main color which they use is red. They are very similar to another pattern called as Tabriz.
